Running Out of Disk Space in Production
↗Production download server suffered 2+ hours of downtime due to disk-space exhaustion and a large-file delivery bug; root causes were nginx buffering of a 2.2GB transfer and misconfigurations, fixed by moving the /nix/store to a separate volume and disabling buffering/temp-file copies, restoring disk usage to ~20%.
